In Kahramanmaraş, bread prices have been increased due to the impact of the recent earthquake. Due to the rise in input costs, the price of a 200-gram loaf of bread has been raised to 8 TL.

In a statement made in recent days, it was noted that the increase in input costs led to the decision to raise bread prices. In line with this decision, the price of a 200-gram loaf of bread was set at 8 TL.

With the price hike, bread prices have been updated as follows:

200-gram loaf of bread: 8 TL

420-gram double loaf of bread: 16 TL

1-kilogram loaf of bread: 36 TL

210-gram whole wheat bread: 12.50 TL

210-gram bran bread: 12.50 TL

210-gram rye bread: 15 TL

50-gram packaged roll bread: 3 TL

REASON FOR THE HIKE

The decision to raise prices stems from the increase in input costs. Bakers stated that input costs such as flour, yeast, electricity, and natural gas have increased, and they expressed that they found it necessary to reflect these increases in bread prices.
