Earthquake expert Prof. Dr. Ahmet Ercan has announced Turkey's 21 safest provinces against earthquakes.
According to the post made on Ercan's X account, the Black Sea region stands out in the ranking of reliable provinces.
Ercan's ranking is as follows:
''The leading safest provinces in Turkey in terms of destructive earthquakes: Kırklareli, Zonguldak, Kastamonu, Sinop, Samsun, Giresun, Ordu, Trabzon, Rize, Artvin, Mardin, Siirt, Batman, Şanlıurfa, Mersin, Antalya, Konya, Karaman, Niğde, Nevşehir, Ankara.''
