Provocations continue at martyr funerals: Özgür Özel's wreath destroyed again!

Turkey is mourning the six soldiers who were martyred as a result of a terrorist attack in the Operation Claw-Lock zone in northern Iraq, while a series of provocations are taking place at the funerals of the martyrs.

Infantry Specialist Corporal İsmail Yazıcı is being laid to rest today in the Şiran district of Gümüşhane.

According to a report by İsmail Saymaz from Sözcü, the wreath sent to the funeral by CHP Chairman Özgür Özel was broken and destroyed by an individual in the mosque courtyard. A similar attack occurred at the funeral ceremony held for Infantry Contracted Private Emre Taşkın, one of the six soldiers who fell as martyrs in the treacherous attack in northern Iraq. As with the incidents in Gaziantep, it was learned that the perpetrator in this attack was also not a relative of the martyr.

In a similar incident that took place in Gaziantep the other day, the wreath sent by Özgür Özel at the funeral of martyr Infantry Specialist Sergeant Abdulkadir İyem was destroyed, and it was revealed that the person who carried out the attack was Kenan Öztürk, a former parliamentary candidate nominee from the AKP.
