Decisions have been made for the urgent expropriation of certain immovable properties for energy projects to be carried out in various provinces of Turkey.
Decisions have been made for the urgent expropriation of certain immovable properties for various energy projects in Konya, Sakarya, Bursa, and Afyonkarahisar.
The Presidential decrees regarding the matter were published in the Official Gazette.
Accordingly, certain immovable properties required for the Mavi Hydroelectric Power Plant (HEPP) Auxiliary Source solar power plant (SPP) electricity generation facility to be established in Konya will be urgently expropriated by the Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EPDK) to be registered in the land registry in the name of the Treasury.
Additionally, it was decided that certain immovable properties required to continue production in the 4th Group lignite mine operation licensed field located in the Şuhut district of Afyonkarahisar will be urgently expropriated by the General Directorate of Mining and Petroleum Affairs (MAPEG).
On the other hand, it was decided that certain immovable properties in the Adapazarı district of Sakarya and the Karacabey district of Bursa, as well as immovable properties needed for the construction of compressor station projects, fixed facilities to be built, access roads, energy transmission lines, cathodic protection lines, and anode beds, will be urgently expropriated by the Petroleum Pipeline Corporation (BOTAŞ) through the establishment of ownership or permanent/temporary easement rights.
