Question from Cemal Enginyurt to the Interior Minister: 'Is it true?'

Democrat Party Deputy Chairman Cemal Enginyurt has made a statement regarding allegations that his phone and those of several other politicians are being tapped. Enginyurt addressed Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya via his X account. 

In his post, Enginyurt said, "It is being said that the phones of many politicians, public officials, and businesspeople are being tapped. Are these wiretaps true?" 

Enginyurt's post on X is as follows:

"I am asking Interior Minister Mr. Ali Yerlikaya.

It is being said on social media that the Ankara Police are tapping the phones of many politicians, public officials, and businesspeople, including myself.

Are these wiretaps true?

If they are true, why did you tap them?

Does the TBMM know about this?"
