While CHP Bahçelievler mayoral candidate Emine Gülizar Emecan was in the field meeting with voters and calling for support, her campaign office was raided by the mayor and his bodyguards.
As CHP candidate Emine Gülizar Emecan, who is running for mayor of Bahçelievler in the new term, continued her campaign activities, Bahçelievler Mayor Hakan Bahadır and his bodyguards paid an unannounced visit to Emecan's campaign office.
Gülizar Emecan's husband, Adil Emecan, stated in a post on his social media account that Mayor Hakan Bahadır and his bodyguards raided their campaign office.
Without providing further details regarding the disturbing incident, Adil Emecan expressed his discomfort with the raid using the following words:
'Today, Bahçelievler Mayor Hakan Bahadır raided our office with his bodyguards. Shame on you.'
