Explaining that she worked at Şemsettin Mursaloğlu High School, Yazgül stated, “The older girl came to my office one day and wanted to talk. The wig on her head caught my attention. I closed the door and asked. She took off her wig; her hair had been shaved to the scalp. Then she called her brother; he had no hair either. They spoke of their father's torture, the abuse he inflicted on their bodies, and sexual harassment.”

Noting that she explained the situation to the school principal and that they reported it to the police, Yazgül said, “Four police officers came, and we called the father. When he arrived at the school, he was like a complete sociopath; he tried to attack our principal. The police barely stopped him. However, he was released two days later. That same night, he killed his older and younger son and severely injured his daughter. Our older girl jumped from the balcony to escape and broke her back,” she said.

Emphasizing that her trust in justice has been shaken, Yazgül stated, “He had received a life sentence but was released. Who released this creature? At that time, my principal and I lived in fear for a long time. His wife had also fled not because of poverty, but because of torture. May those children rest in peace.”
