Recep Tayyip Erdoğan Special Exhibition to open during Republic's 100th anniversary events

The Directorate of Communications has announced the events to be held specifically for the 100th anniversary of the Republic.

As part of the events, Türkiye's achievements over the past 100 years will be showcased through various digital exhibitions and three-dimensional displays utilizing the latest technological capabilities.

A visual show will be held on October 29th on the Bosphorus, featuring a display of 2023 drones and fireworks. The 100th Anniversary Anthem will be played at historical venues where special light shows will take place.

In the "Century of Türkiye from the Past to the Future" viewing area to be set up in front of the Atatürk Cultural Center in Istanbul's Taksim Square, the vision of the Century of Türkiye from past to present will be presented to citizens through an interactive and technological experience, featuring water curtains, water shows, and screens displaying three-dimensional content. In addition, the "Century of Türkiye Installation," inspired by the official Century of Türkiye logo, will be set up at the entrance of Istiklal Street in Taksim Square, where 100th-anniversary content will be shown to the public on a giant screen. The event can be watched on-site via live broadcast on October 29th, when the 100th anniversary of the Republic will be celebrated.

As part of the events, monumental monoliths will also be erected in Istanbul's Bakırköy Freedom Square, Ankara's Kızılay Square, and Izmir's Konak Square. Videos, visuals, and content specific to the 100th anniversary of the Republic will be presented to citizens in these digital spaces in the aforementioned squares.

RECEP TAYYİP ERDOĞAN SPECIAL EXHIBITION TO OPEN

In the Recep Tayyip Erdoğan Special Exhibition, prepared based on the words of AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, "I had dreams. I am experiencing the happiness of realizing these dreams one by one," which will be held in Istanbul's Üsküdar Square, the accomplishments of the last 20 years will be displayed. The exhibition, which uses the latest digital technology, will feature 360-degree viewing areas.

With the "Voice of the Republic, Color of the Republic" event, historical sites such as the Galata Tower, Haydarpaşa Train Station, the Republic Museum (II. TBMM Building), the Ethnography Museum, the Clock Tower, and Dolmabahçe Palace, as well as tourist destinations like the Ancient City of Ephesus and Cappadocia, will be illuminated with special light shows. These venues will echo with the "100th Anniversary Anthem," composed specifically for the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Republic by the Presidential Symphony Orchestra.

VISUAL SHOW IN THE SKY WITH 2023 DRONES

As part of the 100th-anniversary celebrations of the Republic, special fireworks displays will also be held on the Bosphorus on October 29th. A feast will be presented to the audience in the sky during the event, where visuals specific to the 100th anniversary will be displayed by 2023 drones.

On a floating pier that will move along the Bosphorus on October 29th, important projects and works of the 100th year will be exhibited on LED screens throughout the day. These events will also be accessible to citizens from viewing areas to be established at important centers in Istanbul.

Under the coordination of the Presidency's Directorate of Communications, 100th-anniversary celebrations will also be held in squares in other provinces.

Various celebrations will also be held abroad by embassies. The Presidency's Directorate of Communications will organize 100th-anniversary exhibitions and show special videos at foreign missions. On the other hand, all content related to the 100th anniversary is available on the website "yuzuncuyil.gov.tr", which was established by the Presidency's Directorate of Communications and serves as an important content pool for all public institutions and organizations as well as citizens.

Presidential Communications Director Fahrettin Altun stated that as the Directorate, they have prepared very comprehensive events for the 100th anniversary of the Republic of Türkiye and that the 100th anniversary of the Republic will be celebrated in a manner befitting the Century of Türkiye.

Noting that they are experiencing the justified pride and happiness of reaching the 100th anniversary of the Republic, Altun said, "Our noble nation has proudly carried our Republic to its 100th year by overcoming many hardships and clearing many great obstacles one by one since the past. Now, under the leadership of our President, Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, we will continue to work with all our strength to carry our country to the top leagues in every field with the vision of the Century of Türkiye, as we have done until today, and to keep this sacred homeland, the legacy of our ancestors, alive forever."

Emphasizing that they want to carry out the 100th-anniversary celebrations with an unprecedented level of enthusiasm and that they have implemented many projects and events in harmony and coordination with all institutions and organizations for this purpose, Altun added that they will declare to the whole world that the Century of Türkiye has begun.
