The fight occurred around 10:00 AM at a detached house located on 5801 Street, 66th Avenue in the Hacılar Harmanı neighborhood.

According to the information obtained, an uncle and his nephew, who had returned to their hometown of Aksaray with their families after working as seasonal agricultural laborers out of the city, gathered at the house to divide their earned wages.

The uncle and nephew began arguing over money while trying to divide the wages and could not reach an agreement.

As the argument quickly turned into a fight, families and relatives joined in. The growing brawl soon spilled out into the street, with two separate groups of approximately 60 people clashing with stones, sticks, and weapons.

The moment the weapons were fired was captured moment-by-moment on a citizen's mobile phone camera, and the sounds of gunfire and fighting stirred up the neighborhood.

50 POLICE OFFICERS INTERVENED TO STOP THE FIGHT

Neighborhood residents immediately reported the situation to the 112 Emergency Call Center. Upon the report, police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene. While police teams arriving shortly at the scene intervened in the fight, Riot Police units were sent to the location when the parties would not disperse.

The fight, which was intervened in by approximately 50 police officers, both uniformed and plainclothes, was brought under control with difficulty; 9 people were slightly injured as a result of stones, sticks, and battery.
