Resignation in the New Welfare Party! Suat Pamukçu has left the party
Istanbul MP Suat Pamukçu of the New Welfare Party has announced his resignation from the party, citing a failure to remain committed to its founding principles.
Istanbul MP Suat Pamukçu has resigned from the New Welfare Party.
In his statement, Pamukçu included the following remarks:
"I have observed that our party, of which I am a founder, has drifted away from its Founding Belief and Philosophy following the recent general elections. Until today, I had hoped that common sense would return. Seeing that vote calculations were prioritized over the party's fundamental views in the determination of candidates for the local elections, and that candidates incompatible with our beliefs were nominated, has shown that our expectations were in vain. Therefore, I respectfully submit to your information that I have resigned from our party."
