Revealed to have 9 criminal records: 'Cumhur İttifakı Ocakları' chairman who inspected shopping mall released
In Afyonkarahisar, a suspect who introduced himself as the "Chairman of the Cumhur İttifakı Ocakları" and conducted inspections at a shopping mall has been released under judicial control measures along with 5 others. It was revealed that the suspect, who was detained following an investigation into the "unlawful assumption of a public office," has 9 prior criminal records.
Following the circulation on social media of footage showing F.A., who introduced himself as the "Chairman of the Cumhur İttifakı Ocakları," and his associates acting like public officials while conducting inspections at a shopping mall in Afyonkarahisar, the Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office took action. As part of the investigation launched by the Prosecutor's Office, F.A. and 4 other suspects were detained. Proceedings were initiated against the suspects, who were apprehended in a vehicle stopped during the operation, for the crime of "unlawful assumption of a public office." Examinations revealed that the detained F.A. has 9, E.V. has 6, M.G. has 6, E.V. has 4, and Y.Y. has 1 criminal record.

It was learned that F.A., who is registered in Adana, has a criminal record for offenses including "establishing an organization for the purpose of committing crimes," "threat," "negligent injury," "violation of the Law on Firearms and Knives and Other Instruments," "theft," "damage to property," "qualified fraud," "forgery of private documents," "insult," "unauthorized access to an information system," "unlawful disclosure or acquisition of personal data," and "disturbing the peace and tranquility of individuals." It was noted that F.A., who has been the subject of various investigations in the past, had previously come to public attention over allegations of introducing himself with different titles and preparing fake identification cards using the names and logos of certain public institutions.
After their procedures at the police station, the suspects were brought to the Ankara Courthouse and gave statements to the prosecutor on duty. The 6 suspects, who were subsequently referred to the duty magistrate, were released under judicial control measures, including a house arrest order and a travel ban.
