Rode for 12 years without inspection or insurance
It was discovered that the motorcycle rider, who fled the scene upon seeing a police officer attempting to perform a check, had not had the vehicle inspected or insured for 12 years; the incident was captured on security cameras.
Police teams spotted a suspicious motorcycle at the Çoban Junction in Düzce during the morning hours.
Seeing the driver of the motorcycle with license plate 81 BT 784 turning from the junction onto the D-100 highway, a traffic officer wanted to conduct an inspection.
The driver, who initially tried to flee from the police, realized he could not escape, pulled over to the side of the road with the officer, got off the motorcycle, and ran away.
DETERMINED HE HAD NOT HAD AN INSPECTION FOR 12 YEARS
During the inspection conducted by the police, it was determined that the motorcycle had not undergone inspection or had insurance for 12 years.
