Rojin Kabaiş has been missing for 10 days
Van Yüzüncü Yıl University student Rojin Kabaiş went missing on September 27. Her family continues to wait with hope for the young woman, from whom no news has been received for 10 days.
10 days have passed since 21-year-old Rojin Kabaiş, a student at Van Yüzüncü Yıl University (YYÜ), went missing.

Rojin Kabaiş, a first-year student in the Preschool Teaching Department at the Van YYÜ Faculty of Education, had come to Van from Diyarbakır after enrolling at the university. Kabaiş, who left her dormitory on September 27, 2024, to go to the shore of Lake Van after eating, has not been heard from since.

According to footage captured by cameras, the young woman was seen having a video call with her mother on the way and then shopping at a kiosk; she reached the shore, sat on a bench for a while, and watched the lake. Rojin then went out of the camera's view and disappeared from that moment on.

The hopeful wait continues for Kabaiş's father, Nizamettin, and mother, Aygül Kabaiş, who have not received any news from her for 10 days.
