Journalist Şaban Sevinç's remarks regarding Atatürk on the "Taksim Meydanı" program, hosted by Gürkan Hacır on TV100, have become a trending topic on social media.

"DON'T CALL HIM 'THE LATE'"

When one of the guests on the program, journalist Sinan Burhan, used the phrase "the late Atatürk" for Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, CHP-affiliated journalist Şaban Sevinç reacted by saying, "Don't call Atatürk 'the late,' Atatürk is not 'the late.' Atatürk lives forever."

Sevinç's outburst caused surprise among the guests on the program and also resonated on social media.

"DO NOT EXEMPT HIM FROM GOD'S MERCY"

Following Sevinç's words, Burhan replied, "Fine, may God have mercy on him, let him live on, there is no problem with that," while another guest, political communicator Ferhat Murat, said, "Do not exempt him from God's mercy. Everyone is in need of God's mercy."
