Sad news from the Ministry of National Defense: One soldier martyred
In a statement issued by the Ministry of National Defense, it was reported that Transport Contracted Private Adem KEL, who was injured in a vehicle accident during the transport of personnel and equipment on the Hakkari-Şırnak highway, could not be saved despite all interventions and has been martyred.
The statement issued by the Ministry of National Defense included the following expressions:
"Transport Contracted Private Adem KEL, who was injured as a result of a vehicle accident that occurred during the transport of personnel and equipment by the 3rd Commando Brigade Command on February 13, 2024, was immediately transferred to Şırnak State Hospital, where his treatment began. However, despite all interventions, he could not be saved and has been martyred.
We wish God's mercy upon our dear martyr who lost his life in this incident that has plunged us into deep pain and sorrow, and we extend our condolences and patience to his grieving family, the Turkish Armed Forces, and our noble nation."
