Scandal in Ankara narcotics operation! Police trainee caught with 100,000 pills

A significant development occurred in Ankara recently as part of an Istanbul-based Captagon operation. According to T24 columnist Tolga Şardan, narcotics teams affiliated with the Ankara Police Department took action following intelligence that drugs were being brought from Istanbul to Ankara. A search of a private vehicle stopped in Kahramankazan resulted in the seizure of 100,000 Captagon pills.

SUSPECT'S IDENTITY REVEALED AS POLICE OFFICER

A striking detail emerged upon checking the identity of the vehicle's driver. It was understood that the person transporting the Captagon he had picked up in Istanbul to Ankara was a police officer. The section included in Şardan's report stated the following:

"The truly surprising process began with an examination of the personnel file of the suspect police officer, N.T., who was taken to the branch. It was understood that the suspect police officer had 'not yet completed the period to receive tenure in the profession,' meaning he was a trainee police officer who had not yet completed his first year. Police officer N.T. was arrested.

However, what is striking here is that a trainee police officer who has not yet completed a year is involved in criminal gangs. It is important to determine how much the suspect police officer's family tree was examined, who his reference was, and how he established connections with criminal organizations."
