The Presidential Cabinet is meeting today under the chairmanship of AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. Many topics, from domestic security to foreign policy, and from the economy to the fight against terrorism, will be discussed at the meeting.

ATTACKS IN SCHOOLS ON THE AGENDA

Among the Cabinet's priority agenda items are the school attacks that occurred in Şanlıurfa and Kahramanmaraş. The work carried out by the relevant ministries following the attacks will be evaluated, and new security measures that can be implemented in educational institutions will be discussed.

REGIONAL DEVELOPMENTS AND THE CEASEFIRE PROCESS

The ceasefire and negotiation process between the US-Israel and Iran will also be addressed at the meeting. The course of the ceasefire, the diplomatic contacts being conducted, and Turkey's potential contributions to the process will be evaluated.

The tension in the Strait of Hormuz and the effects of fluctuations in energy prices on the economy are also among the Cabinet's agenda items.

"TERROR-FREE TURKEY" PROCESS

The second opening process, called "Terror-Free Turkey," will also be discussed at the Cabinet meeting. It is expected that the follow-up of developments on the ground regarding the PKK terrorist organization's disarmament process and the legal regulations prepared within this scope will be emphasized.
