Schools closed on Monday in Zonguldak
Flooding is occurring in Zonguldak due to heavy rainfall and storms affecting the city. In Zonguldak, where a dry cargo ship has run aground and inmates at the prison have been transferred to other locations, schools have been closed for Monday.
The Zonguldak Governor's Office has announced that schools will be closed on Monday due to the rainfall and storms experienced in the city.
The statement made by the Governor's Office is as follows:
'Across the Zonguldak province; due to adverse weather conditions, education and training have been suspended for one day on Monday, November 20, 2023, in all public/private formal and non-formal education institutions (including rehabilitation centers and private courses). Disabled and pregnant personnel working in public institutions and organizations will also be considered on administrative leave for one day on November 20, 2023.'
