Search operations begin for fisherman missing after boat capsizes
Fishermen who set out to sea to fish in Samsun yesterday evening were caught in waves on their way back, causing their boat to capsize. Search operations have been launched for Orhan Çorbacı, the fisherman who went missing after the boat capsized.
In the Bafra district of Samsun, fishermen Cengiz Liman and Orhan Çorbacı set out to sea yesterday evening in a 5-meter boat to fish, but the boat capsized on their way back due to rising waves.
Cengiz Liman managed to swim to shore, while Orhan Çorbacı disappeared after being swept away by the current after swimming for a while.

The Provincial Gendarmerie Command Underwater Search and Rescue Team and the Coast Guard Black Sea Regional Command teams began search operations at daybreak for Orhan Çorbacı, who went missing at sea after the boat he had taken out to fish from Koşuköyü Neighborhood capsized.

Teams are searching for Çorbacı by land, sea, and air.
