Search operations continue for person missing in Trabzon flood
Search operations are ongoing for a hearing-impaired citizen who went missing following floods and landslides in the Sürmene district of Trabzon. Teams are conducting searches both on land and at sea.
Floods and landslides occurred in the Çavuşlu neighborhood of Trabzon's Sürmene district following heavy rainfall yesterday. Search operations are continuing for the person who went missing during the floods and landslides.
Relatives of a hearing-impaired individual who left home to go to the mosque and could not be reached reported the situation to the authorities.
Despite searches conducted throughout the night in the area where the mosque is located, teams were unable to achieve results.
The Provincial Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD), along with Coast Guard and gendarmerie teams, continue to search for the missing person both on land and at sea.
