It has been learned that new evidence was found during searches conducted at the home and barn of the detained confessor Nevzat Bahtiyar, following his additional testimony in the Narin Güran murder investigation.
The investigation into the murder of Narin Güran, who was reported missing on August 21 in the Tavşantepe neighborhood of the Bağlar district in Diyarbakır and whose lifeless body was found 19 days later, continues.
The perpetrator of the brutal murder, for which 12 people have been arrested, has not yet been identified.
It has been learned that new evidence was discovered following the additional testimony provided by the detained confessor Nevzat Bahtiyar after the lifeless body of 8-year-old Narin was found.
According to a report by Tv100, new findings were reached as a result of searches conducted at Bahtiyar's home and barn following his additional testimony.
2 CIGARETTE BUTTS FOUND IN BAHTİYAR'S BARN
Among the evidence sent for analysis were 2 cigarette butts found in Bahtiyar's barn. DNA will be sought on the cigarette butts. The age of the cigarette butts will also be determined.
The Gendarmerie continues to keep watch at Bahtiyar's home and barn without interruption.
