In his statement, a secret witness who sent a 3-page confession letter to the court said, "I know all the details of the illegal betting. I will submit all the evidence and documents, which are currently in Switzerland, to the court."

According to the report by Arzu Kaya from Sabah, a confession that could change the course of the trial has come from a secret witness in the Dilan Polat case. The secret witness stated, "I no longer want to hide. Let my statement be taken as a defendant, not a witness. I will hand over the entire iceberg." Explaining that his wife managed the betting sites through a program he had set up on the internet, the witness said he would also surrender the money he earned, adding, "Let all of us who committed the crime, including us, pay the price for this betrayal."

'ALL DOCUMENTS ARE WITH MY WIFE'

It was learned that the secret witness, who is known to have worked for a period with illegal betting baron Derkan Başer, stated that he kept information regarding cold wallets where betting money was transferred, phones used for correspondence, hard disks where information was stored, digital materials, all correspondence smuggled from the searched companies, laptops, betting site management information, bank account details, safe deposit boxes, and more through his wife.

The secret witness, who committed to handing over all information regarding illegal betting and its operations, said that thanks to a program he created, the IP address of the computer his wife used in many countries was visible, and he thus secured it. The witness requested to be transferred to a different prison after his statement is taken.
