Sedef Kabaş, one of Turkey's boldest voices, joins 12punto.com.tr

Journalist, news anchor, television programmer, and expert in communication and political science, Sedef Kabaş, will meet her readers at 12punto, which continues to expand its roster of writers every day.

Kabaş, one of Turkey's boldest voices, is known for the news programs and interviews she has prepared and presented on various television channels since 1997.

Kabaş has conducted over 1,500 interviews with prominent figures from the fields of politics, economy, media, academia, art, and sports in Turkey.

After completing her high school education at Özel Dost High School in Istanbul, Kabaş pursued higher education at Boğaziçi University's Department of Political Science and International Relations in 1992. Following her graduation, she received a Fulbright Scholarship and went to the U.S., where she earned a master's degree in Television Journalism at Boston University.

Sedef Kabaş began her professional career in 1992 at Power FM, where she was part of the founding team and prepared and presented news bulletins.

Between 1995 and 1997, Kabaş prepared news reports on the Middle East, Europe, and the Balkans at CNN International in Atlanta, becoming the first Turkish journalist to work for the organization.
