Severe rainfall warning for many cities: Which regions are at risk?

In the forecasts prepared by the General Directorate of Meteorology for Friday, July 10, the weather is expected to be cloudy, particularly in the northern, inner, and western parts of the country. Intermittent showers and thunderstorms are expected in the north and east of the Marmara region, the coastal parts of the Western and Central Black Sea and the Eastern Black Sea, as well as the inland parts of Antalya, the provinces of Mersin, Adana, and Osmaniye, and the west of Konya.

Other provinces where rainfall is expected include Istanbul, Kırklareli, Bursa, Burdur, the north of Çankırı, Bolu, Düzce, Kastamonu, Zonguldak, Bartın, Sinop, Samsun, Amasya, Rize, Trabzon, Artvin, and Ardahan. Short-term but intense rainfall may occur in these provinces throughout the day.

On the other hand, the weather is expected to be mostly clear and sunny in other parts of the country. Authorities advise citizens to be careful and take precautions against negative conditions such as flash floods, inundations, lightning strikes, and disruptions in transportation.
