She had killed her daughter-in-law, caught at a jewelry store
In Bursa, a mother-in-law who killed her daughter-in-law was caught by police at a jewelry store she had stopped at to prepare for a relative's wedding. The moment was captured on security camera.
In the Yenişehir district of Bursa, 46-year-old G.Y., who killed her daughter-in-law 2 years ago, had been released on probation after serving 15 months in prison. However, when a total sentence of 7 years and 6 months in prison for the crime of "Intentional Homicide" was issued against the woman while her trial was ongoing, the suspect fled from the district where she was located to the city center. The Public Security Branch Directorate's Public Order Teams Bureau launched a technical and physical pursuit to apprehend the suspect. The wanted woman was caught at a jewelry store. Taken to the police station to provide her statement, the mother-in-law said, "I accidentally shot my daughter-in-law with a handgun. I served 15 months and got out, I will go back in again. I had come here for a relative's wedding."

While the moment of the suspect's apprehension was captured on camera after her processing was completed, G.K. was referred to the courthouse, where she was arrested by the court and sent to prison.
