She killed her son-in-law who attacked her daughter with a gun: Welcomed with applause after release decision

It was alleged that Rüzgar E., who was reported to have a restraining order against him, came to the house where his wife, Nurşin E., who was in the process of divorcing him, was living and carried out an armed attack. During the scuffle that broke out in the house, the mother-in-law, Delal A., stabbed and killed her son-in-law, Rüzgar E.

Delal A., who was taken into custody following the incident, was released by the court she was brought before.

WELCOMED WITH APPLAUSE UPON RETURNING TO THE NEIGHBORHOOD

After being released, Delal A. returned to her home in Çeliktepe Neighborhood and was welcomed with applause by neighborhood residents and her relatives.

In the footage shared on social media, it was seen that citizens gathered in the neighborhood supported Delal A. In the footage, some people were heard saying, "Anyone in her place would have done the same."

"IF WE HADN'T INTERVENED, HE WOULD HAVE KILLED US ALL"

Giving her statement to the police, Delal A. explained how the incident occurred.

Stating that her son-in-law had said he came from Batman to Istanbul to talk, Delal A. expressed that they opened the door for this reason.

Delal A. included the following words in her statement:

"About 10 minutes after he started talking to my daughter, an argument broke out again. Suddenly, he pulled out his gun and started firing. I took a knife from the kitchen to stop him. When he tried to shoot my daughter again, a struggle ensued between us. At that moment, I swung the knife in my hand randomly. If I hadn't intervened, he would have killed us all."

THREAT VIDEOS EMERGED

Following the incident, threat-filled videos that Rüzgar E. had previously sent to his wife, Nurşin E., and their young daughter also emerged.

In the video call recordings, it was stated that Rüzgar E. told his wife, "Nurşin, be patient for 2-3 months, I will kill you, don't you dare back down. Two months later, that child will be left without a mother or father, she will grow up in an orphanage."

DETERMINED THAT HE ALSO SENT THREAT MESSAGES TO HIS YOUNG DAUGHTER

In another video that emerged, it was seen that Rüzgar E. was speaking to his young daughter.

In the video, it was stated that he used the words, "I have to kill your mother, I will kill her with my own hands. I am going to Germany in two months, I need money, the state will raise you. I will kill your grandmother and whoever I catch in that house."

HE SERIOUSLY INJURED HIS WIFE

According to the allegations, Rüzgar E., who forced his way into the house on the day of the incident, fired a gun and seriously injured his wife, Nurşin E.

It was stated that Rüzgar E., who then attacked his sister-in-law and mother-in-law who were in the house, lost his life as a result of Delal A.'s intervention during the scuffle.

It was learned that Nurşin E., who was taken to the hospital, remains in critical condition. It was stated that another person who was in the house during the incident survived by hiding in a room in fear.
