She lost her life after being struck by a semi-truck while walking on the sidewalk! Driver released

The accident occurred on September 28 on Ankara Yolu Street in the Şirinevler neighborhood of the central Yıldırım district. According to information obtained, the semi-truck with license plate 06 AZB 72, driven by Muzaffer U., struck Yıldız Polat as she was walking on the sidewalk toward the intersection with her child in a stroller while the truck was pulling onto the main road.

Upon reports from the surrounding area, health and police teams were dispatched to the scene. Medical teams arriving at the scene provided initial intervention to Yıldız, who was severely injured in the accident, before transporting her to the Yüksek İhtisas Training and Research Hospital.

Despite all interventions at the hospital, Yıldız Polat could not be saved and lost her life. The driver, Muzaffer U., was taken into custody.

HEARTBREAKING DETAIL IN THE TRAGIC ACCIDENT

Security camera footage of the incident has emerged. After the accident, while mother Yıldız Polat lay on the ground covered in blood, bystanders took care of her crying baby. Her husband, who arrived at the scene after receiving the painful news, suffered a nervous breakdown.

DRIVER RELEASED

Muzaffer U., who was taken into custody following the incident, was released under judicial control by the court he was brought before.
