In its report based on a meeting with a 'high-level Middle Eastern official,' Reuters stated that Turkey is preparing a regulation that would allow for the return of approximately 9,000 PKK terrorists to the country. The official indicated that the work in question could be brought to the parliamentary agenda towards the end of November.

EMPHASIS ON 'NOT A GENERAL AMNESTY'

According to the report, this regulation will not constitute a 'general amnesty.' However, it will provide a guarantee for terrorists who have not participated in armed actions to return to Turkey. The goal is to include approximately 1,000 terrorists in the first phase, with the total number potentially reaching 8,000 as individual files are reviewed.

It was reported that approximately 1,000 PKK terrorists, who have held high or mid-level positions within the terrorist organization and whom Turkey does not view favorably for return, are planned to be sent to third countries, including those in Europe.

LEGISLATIVE PREPARATIONS CONTINUE

DEM Party Deputy Co-Chair Tayip Temel, in his assessment of the issue, stated: 'Work is ongoing on a special law that will ensure the reintegration of PKK members into democratic and social life. The law will cover everyone returning from the PKK, whether civilian or militant.' he said.

SHOCKING CLAIM FROM ÜMİT ÖZDAĞ REGARDING ÖCALAN

Zafer Party leader Ümit Özdağ, citing the Reuters report, brought a striking claim to the agenda.

Writing that Demirtaş will be released, Ümit Özdağ alleged that terrorist leader Abdullah Öcalan will meet with the press after meeting with the reconciliation commission, and will subsequently settle in Ankara.

Özdağ's post is as follows:

'Demirtaş will be released, Öcalan will meet first with the TBMM commission and then with the press. The conditions for him to settle in Ankara will be created.
