Shocking criminal complaint against Diyanet-Sen executive and his sons! 19.7 million fraud...
Diyanet-Sen Vice President Mehmet Ali Omurca and his two sons are facing accusations of luxury vehicle fraud.
Diyanet-Sen, the union for religious officials, is in the spotlight following fraud allegations against its Vice President in charge of financial affairs, Mehmet Ali Omurca, and his sons.
According to a report by Veli Toprak from Sözcü, businessmen Uğur and Muharrem Koca entered into an agreement with Omurca's sons for a 2020 model Mercedes and a 2021 model BMW 7.40, totaling approximately 19.7 million lira. As part of the agreement, 8 checks were issued.
ALLEGATIONS AND INVESTIGATION
According to the protocol, the possession and title transfer of the vehicles were to be completed on specified dates. However, these transfers did not take place, and it was revealed that the protocol was forged and the vehicles were registered to other individuals. It was determined that the vehicles were later transferred to another name, and a loan of 8 million TL was taken out using that name. The Omurca brothers claimed that the vehicles were mortgaged and under lien.
It is alleged that Mehmet Ali Omurca used his position at Diyanet-Sen to gain trust. Following these developments, the prosecutor's office has launched an investigation into the father and his sons. The judicial process regarding the incident is ongoing.
