Striking information that deepens the drug investigation, in which the name of Mehmet Akif Ersoy is also mentioned, has emerged at Habertürk. A person who gave a statement as a witness explained in detail through whom and by what methods drugs were obtained at house parties held in Seyrantepe.
New, noteworthy details have been reached in the "drug" investigation in which former Habertürk Editor-in-Chief Mehmet Akif Ersoy is also among the suspects.
According to a report by Atakan Irmak from Sabah, a witness heard as part of the investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office stated that some figures from the business world frequently visited Mehmet Akif Ersoy's bachelor pad in a residence adjacent to Vadi Istanbul.
In the witness testimony, the environment in the house was described with the words, "Everyone was coming and going from the house. E.A. and D.Y. were met at this house where Mehmet Akif Ersoy's birthday party was held. Akif had a bedroom in that house where every side was a mirror."
DRUG REGIME AT HOUSE PARTIES
In the continuation of the testimony, the witness stated that drug use was common at the parties held at the house in question and provided details on who supplied the substances.
Stating that most of the people attending these environments "already arrived having used drugs," the witness alleged that at a party held at the home of a woman named S.S. in particular, Akif went to another room to drink something and then returned.
The testimony included information that such organizations were continuous and that drugs were obtained from 5 different dealers.
DIFFERENT PHONES TO AVOID TRACKING
Explaining that special precautions were taken during the procurement of the drugs, the witness said that the people attending the party avoided using their own phones.
The witness used the expressions, "They were even placing orders by calling from the phones of different friends so that their own phones would not be tracked." They also alleged that drugs were sent to some entertainment venues.
WHO WERE THE FREQUENT VISITORS TO THE HOUSE?
In the witness testimony, it was stated that among the people who came to this house most frequently were Mustafa Manaz and Ufuk Tetik, who were arrested as part of the investigation. It was also noted that A.G. and M.K. from Ersoy's circle of friends were among those who came to this house.
BARCELONA ALLEGATION ENTERED THE FILE
In the examinations carried out by the prosecutor's office, it was alleged that Mehmet Akif Ersoy went to Barcelona with some friends, where they used drugs and had similar relationships. The allegation that they met with lawyer Rezan Epözdemir and had dinner together during this trip was also included in the file.
While 4 of the 8 suspects detained within the scope of the investigation were arrested, 4 people were released under judicial control conditions. It was reported that the drug tests of all the arrested suspects came back positive.
The arrested individuals were listed as Mehmet Akif Ersoy, Mustafa Manaz, Ufuk Tetik, and Ebru Gülan. Among those released was Buse Ö., who works at the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IBB).
