Six people trapped in metro elevator, security guards came to their rescue
In Istanbul, 6 people were trapped in the Dudullu-Bostancı metro line after the elevator malfunctioned. The 6 people, who were trapped in the hot weather, were rescued by security guards after approximately half an hour. Other citizens provided water to those who felt faint due to the lack of air.
Around 07:30 in the morning, 6 people using the elevator to board the metro on the Dudullu-Bostancı metro line were trapped in the elevator due to a malfunction.
Security guards rescued the 6 people who had been waiting for help inside the elevator in the hot weather for about half an hour. Other citizens provided water to those who felt faint due to the lack of air. The elevator was closed to use until maintenance is performed.
