According to the latest assessments made by the General Directorate of Meteorology, precipitation is expected in the eastern part of the Marmara region, the Eastern Mediterranean, the northwest of Central Anatolia, the Western Black Sea region, the southwest of Eastern Anatolia, the west of Southeastern Anatolia, as well as the surroundings of Yozgat and Niğde, the eastern districts of Antalya, and the surroundings of Samsun, Amasya, and Çorum.
The precipitation, which is expected to be in the form of rain and showers on the coasts and sleet and snow in the interior, is forecast to be heavy snowfall in the surroundings of Bolu, the higher parts of the provinces of Zonguldak, Bartın, Karabük, and Düzce, the higher parts of the north of Kastamonu, and the higher parts of the south and east of Sakarya.
Haze and occasional fog are expected in the morning and night hours, along with icing and frost in the interior and eastern regions.
