Some roads in Istanbul to be closed for October 29! Alternative routes determined
The Istanbul Governor's Office has announced that some roads will be closed to vehicle traffic tomorrow due to the October 29 Republic Day celebrations. Starting at 06:00, Vatan Avenue and all roads leading to it will be closed to traffic. Turgut Özal Boulevard and Fevzipaşa Avenue have been suggested as alternative routes.
The 101st anniversary of the October 29 Republic Day will be celebrated throughout the country. Due to the planned celebrations and the ceremonial parade, some roads in Istanbul will be closed to traffic.

In a statement issued by the Governor's Office, it was reported that as of 06:00 tomorrow in Istanbul, Vatan Avenue—or by its official name, Adnan Menderes Boulevard—and all roads leading to the boulevard will be closed to traffic.

As an alternative, Turgut Özal Boulevard, also known as Millet Avenue, and Fevzipaşa Avenue can be used.
