Specialist sergeant who killed his wife in the middle of the street commits suicide
In an incident that took place in the Sur district of Diyarbakır, specialist sergeant Muhammed Recai Işık committed suicide after killing his wife in the middle of the street. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
In the central Sur district, on Melik Ahmet Street in the Süleyman Nazif neighborhood, specialist sergeant Muhammed Recai Işık committed suicide after carrying out an armed attack on his wife, Bedriye Işık.
Upon notification, police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene.
Medical teams determined during their checks that both individuals had lost their lives.
The bodies were taken to the Forensic Medicine Morgue for autopsies.
The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
