Spring returns to Istanbul: Temperatures to rise to 24 degrees
After several days of cool and slightly rainy weather, Istanbul residents are preparing to fully feel the spring as temperatures rise starting from the middle of the week.
The cold wave that has been affecting Istanbul for about four days is beginning to leave the region towards noon today. According to AKOM data, after short-term light rainfall ranging between 1-2 kilograms in the morning hours, the sky is expected to clear. Thus, the coolness that has lasted for days in the city will give way to milder weather.
Temperatures, which have been hovering below seasonal norms between 14-16°C, will rise rapidly starting Wednesday. Temperatures in the city are expected to reach 19°C tomorrow and climb to levels of 22-24°C by the weekend. On Friday, the air temperature is estimated to reach 24°C.

With this expected increase in the coming days, Istanbul residents will experience a rehearsal of the summer season. Favorable conditions are expected for city residents to enjoy the weekend outdoors.
