Statement from Erdoğan regarding the fire tragedy in Bolu

10 people lost their lives and 32 were injured in a fire that broke out at a hotel in the Bolu Kartalkaya Ski Center.

AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan wished God's mercy upon those who lost their lives in the tragedy and a speedy recovery to the injured.

Making a statement on his X account, Erdoğan noted the following:

"I pray for God's mercy upon our citizens who lost their lives in the fire that occurred at a hotel in Bolu Kartalkaya, and I wish a speedy recovery to our injured. I convey my best wishes to all my brothers and sisters affected by this tragic incident, which we have been closely following through our relevant institutions since the very first moment and for which investigations have been immediately launched, and to our Bolu."

CONDOLENCE MESSAGES FROM POLITICIANS

Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz wished God's mercy upon those who lost their lives in the fire at a hotel in the Bolu Kartalkaya Ski Center and a speedy recovery to the injured.

In a message shared on his social media account, Yılmaz stated, "I wish God's mercy upon our citizens who lost their lives in the fire that occurred at a hotel in Bolu Kartalkaya, patience and condolences to their grieving families, and a speedy recovery to our injured citizens. Our relevant institutions are continuing their response efforts to the fire. May the Lord protect our nation from all kinds of disasters."

CHP Chairman Özgür Özel, in the condolence message he published, stated, "I wish God's mercy upon our 10 citizens who lost their lives in the fire that occurred at a hotel in Bolu Kartalkaya, and a speedy recovery to the injured. I hope we do not receive any more painful news."
