Statement from Minister of National Education Tekin regarding the 1-day school holiday
Minister of National Education Yusuf Tekin, regarding the decision to close schools for one day tomorrow, said, "On the first morning of the Century of Turkey, I want you to spend a long time with your family and loved ones and listen to them once more about the value and importance of this glorious Republic, which has been gifted and entrusted to you."
Minister of National Education Yusuf Tekin, in a post on his Twitter account, stated that all of Turkey, inspired by its thousands of years of history, continues to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Republic with pride and in a manner befitting its glory.
Emphasizing that schools at all levels are closed for one day on Monday, October 30, Tekin noted the following:
"I would like to express my gratitude to our President, Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, for this 100th-anniversary gift he has presented to you. My only request from you today is that you experience the enthusiasm of the 100th anniversary of our beautiful Republic even more deeply and sincerely.
Tomorrow, on the first morning of the Century of Turkey, I want you to spend a long time with your family and loved ones and listen to them once more about the value and importance of this glorious Republic, which has been gifted and entrusted to you."
