Statement from Minister Tunç regarding the fire in Diyarbakır that claimed the lives of a mother and her 3 children
Minister of Justice Yılmaz Tunç announced that the investigation into the fire in Diyarbakır, which resulted in the deaths of a mother and her 3 children, is being conducted meticulously.
Minister Tunç stated the following in a post on his social media account:
"I pray for God's mercy upon our 3 children and their mother who lost their lives in the fire that broke out in a building in our province of Diyarbakır, and I extend my condolences and patience to their relatives.
Regarding this incident, which has deeply saddened us all, a judicial investigation has been initiated by the Diyarbakır Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, and 2 public prosecutors have been assigned under the coordination of a deputy chief prosecutor. The investigation is being carried out meticulously."
