Statement from the Ministry of National Defense on 'paid military service fee'
Following the announcement of inflation figures, the paid military service fee is expected to rise to 217,870 Turkish Lira. A statement regarding the matter has been issued by the Ministry of National Defense.
Rear Admiral Zeki Aktürk, Press and Public Relations Advisor for the Ministry of National Defense (MSB), made statements during a press briefing held at the ministry.
Speaking about the paid military service fee, Rear Admiral Aktürk stated that the amount for paid military service was fixed to the rate of increase in the civil servant salary coefficient through a previous regulation, thereby eliminating uncertainty regarding the amount.
NOTIFICATION WILL BE MADE AFTER THE CIRCULAR
Aktürk said, "The notification regarding the paid military service fee for the second half of 2024 will be made by the Ministry of Treasury and Finance after the 'Financial and Social Rights' circular is published."
