The Center for Combating Disinformation (DMM), affiliated with the Presidency's Directorate of Communications, announced that the allegations circulating in recent days regarding a cyberattack on the Post and Telegraph Organization (PTT) and an ensuing data breach do not reflect the truth.

In the information provided by the institution, it was stated that the posts claiming "there was a data breach at PTT," which have spread across various media platforms and caused public concern, are baseless. The statement emphasized that no security vulnerabilities or data leaks have been detected in PTT's information systems.

The DMM stated that PTT's systems are protected 24/7 in accordance with national and international cybersecurity standards and protocols. Furthermore, it was conveyed that the privacy of citizens' personal data is maintained with great care and modern technological infrastructure.
