Statement on the attack from YRP Provincial Chair Mustafaoğlu

In his statement, Chair Mustafaoğlu said, "I strongly condemn the heinous attack carried out against the family members of our Yeniden Refah Party Horasan Mayoral Candidate Abdulhatem Bastem and our organization members during our field work. 

We cannot approve of any action carried out with the aim of preventing the rise of the Yeniden Refah Party in our city, as is the case across the entire country, or aimed at polarizing our nation. However, we attach great importance to the fact that our elections, which we describe as a festival, should be conducted patiently under any circumstances and that the process should be concluded with calm. 

In this sense, I invite all our candidates and organizations continuing their election work to be moderate and calm, and I hope that such incidents, which do not befit our city, will not be repeated, and that what is worthy of Erzurum and the people of Erzurum will be done,'' he stated.
