Storm warning in the Aegean: Winds of 50-90 km/h expected
The 2nd Regional Directorate of Meteorology has announced that a storm is expected in the Aegean Sea starting tomorrow evening. The statement indicated that winds are expected to blow at force 6 to 8 (50-75 km/h) as a storm, and will increase in intensity on Sunday to blow as a strong storm at force 9 (90 km/h) in some areas.

In the statement made by Meteorology's Forecast and Early Warning Center, it was stated: "Starting from the evening hours of Saturday (06.01.2024), the wind in the Aegean is expected to blow from the southeast, and from the night hours from the southwest, as a storm at force 6 to 8 (50-75 km/h), and on Sunday (07.01.2024), it is expected to increase in intensity and blow as a strong storm at force 9 (90 km/h) in some areas. The storm is expected to lose its effect on Monday morning (08.01.2024)."
