Following this meeting, which included Davutoğlu and Babacan appearing in the same environment as Erdoğan for the first time in years, AKP member Şamil Tayyar made a noteworthy assessment. Tayyar stated that the photos from the reception could be a sign of potential new alliances in politics.

Making a statement on his X account, Tayyar noted the following:

MHP Leader Bahçeli had gone to the DEM benches to shake hands, followed by the Öcalan call.

Then the second resolution process began.

The parliamentary opening on October 1 this year started with a new surprise.

For the first time after a long interval, Davutoğlu and Babacan appeared in the same photo frame as our President.

Müsavat Dervişoğlu did as well.

In short, our President brought together the opposition without the CHP.

This photo could be a sign of the political construct of a new era.

My opinion is that new alliances could develop for a new Constitution.

If successful, it could even turn into an electoral alliance.

The CHP, unable to escape the İmamoğlu spiral and internal strife, may become increasingly isolated.

I suggest we look at the photos from this perspective as well."
