According to the latest assessments made by the General Directorate of Meteorology, the country is expected to be partly to very cloudy, with precipitation expected across the entire country except for Ordu, Giresun, Trabzon, and Rize.
Precipitation is expected to be generally in the form of rain and downpours, thunderstorms on the Aegean and Mediterranean coasts, and sleet and snow in the interior parts of the Black Sea region and the north and east of Eastern Anatolia; it is expected to be locally strong in the vicinity of Çanakkale, Tekirdağ, Istanbul, Kocaeli, Balıkesir, Bursa, Yalova, İzmir, Manisa, Antalya, Adana, Osmaniye, and Hatay. Icing and frost are expected in the interior and eastern parts during the night and morning hours. There is an avalanche risk in the interior parts of the Eastern Black Sea region and the north and east of Eastern Anatolia.
