Strong wind warning from the Meteorological Service!
The General Directorate of Meteorology has shared the weather forecast for Saturday, October 21. While temperatures are rising across the country, a strong wind warning has been issued for some regions.
The General Directorate of Meteorology reports that according to the latest assessments: No precipitation is expected across the country. The wind is expected to blow strongly (40-60 km/h) from the southwest in the Marmara region. Haze and occasional fog are expected in inland areas during the morning and night hours.
Air temperatures are expected to rise across the country, remaining around seasonal norms in the east and 3-6 degrees above normal in other areas. The wind is expected to blow lightly to occasionally moderately from southerly directions, and strongly (40-60 km/h) from the southwest in the Marmara region.
