A surprise statement came from MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli ahead of the matches starting at 19:00.
In a post shared on MHP's official social media account, Bahçeli said, "The wounds of the disaster of the century have not yet healed," and added, "For the sake of preventing stress in Turkish football, teams should not be relegated this year."
