A woman identified as H.İ.Ö., who snuck into the hospital and put on a nurse's uniform, attempted to kidnap a baby from the neonatal unit. The suspect, H.İ.Ö., managed to bypass security measures by wearing a nurse's uniform she had obtained to appear as hospital staff and entered the neonatal unit.

The suspect, having set her sights on one of the babies in the unit, picked up the baby and quickly headed toward the exit.

VIGILANT NURSES INTERVENED, A CHASE ENSUED IN THE HOSPITAL

The nurses on duty, who became suspicious of the suspect's nervous behavior and overall demeanor, intervened.

Teams from the Eyyübiye District Police Department's Investigation Bureau apprehended the suspect, H.İ.Ö., in a successful operation conducted at the address they had identified.

The suspect, whose processing regarding why she carried out this unprecedented act was completed during her interrogation at the police station, was transferred to the Şanlıurfa Courthouse under heavy security measures.
