Suspect who insulted Rojin Kabaiş detained

According to the information obtained, it was determined that an individual had made insulting and derogatory remarks directed at Rojin Kabaiş on their social media account. Upon being notified of the situation, the Şanlıurfa Chief Public Prosecutor's Office took action and launched an investigation to identify the suspect.

As a result of the investigation, it was determined that the person using the account was F.Ş. The suspect was apprehended by police teams in the Eyyübiye district and taken into custody.

In a statement issued by the Şanlıurfa Governor's Office, it was stated: "As a result of the work carried out by our Provincial Security Directorate regarding the insulting social media posts made about Rojin Kabaiş, who lost her life in Van last year, it was determined that the person who made the posts in question was F.Ş. The suspect was apprehended in the Eyyübiye district on October 19, 2025, and was detained on charges of 'inciting the public to hatred and hostility or insulting' in accordance with the instructions of the judicial authorities."
