Suspicious bag detonated in Aydın turns out to contain clothes
In the Efeler district of Aydın, a suspicious suitcase left on the sidewalk was detonated with a fuse by bomb disposal teams. An investigation has been launched after the bag was found to contain clothing.
The incident occurred on 2010 Street in the Kurtuluş neighborhood of the Efeler district. According to the information obtained, citizens in the area noticed a suspicious suitcase left on the sidewalk. After monitoring it for a long time and seeing that no one came to retrieve it, the citizens reported the situation to the 112 Emergency Call Center as a precaution. Police teams were dispatched to the area upon the report.

The teams that arrived at the scene shortly after took extensive security measures in the area. Bomb disposal teams dispatched to the location examined the bag while wearing protective gear.

Following the examination, the bag was detonated in a controlled manner with the help of a fuse. While the bag was found to contain clothes, an investigation into the incident has been initiated.
