Suspicious death in a home in Samsun: 32-year-old man found dead in a chair
In the Canik district of Samsun, a man was found dead and motionless in a chair at a home he was visiting. The prosecutor's office has launched an investigation into the incident.
The incident occurred in an apartment building on Dergah Street in the Soğuksu neighborhood of the Canik district. According to the information obtained, Yusuf Özata (32) had come as a guest to a house that is being evaluated under urban transformation projects, where individuals identified as M.T. (38) and H.T. (46) reside.
According to the statements of those in the house, Özata was found motionless in a chair after some time. The residents, noticing the situation, immediately called the 112 Emergency Call Center to request assistance. Health teams arriving at the scene determined during their initial checks that Yusuf Özata had lost his life.
Authorities conducted investigations at the scene as the death was deemed suspicious. While police teams carried out a detailed search of the house, Özata's body was sent to the Samsun Forensic Medicine Institute for an autopsy to determine the exact cause of death.
The investigation into the incident is continuing meticulously.
